DEFAÏENCE, founded by Nicola Bacchilega, is an avant-garde, luxury Italian jewelry and fashion house known for its haute couture designs. DEFAÏENCE has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and several other renowned fashion magazines. The opportunity arose to create product videos for the upcoming SS25 collection 'SEKHMĒT,' showcased digitally at Milan Fashion Week SS25. The SEKHMĒT collection was inspired by the powerful Egyptian goddess, with a colour palette drawn from desert landscapes and sunset hues. To ensure the product videos matched the collection’s aesthetic, both gold and silver jewelry were tested, ultimately selecting silver for its perfect alignment with the tones. To enhance the desert theme, sand particles were integrated throughout the video, symbolizing the connection between the jewelry and the natural elements. In post-production, subtle light reflections were added, creating a seamless and cohesive visual experience that ties the collection to the fashion film and other pieces.
Additionally, several more videos were created, aligned with the brand's overall aesthetic, featuring a sleek grey background, designed for use on social media platforms during events like sales or store launches.
